In the next little while I’ll post photos and commentary on my experiences in Second Life, the virtual space that is causing more than a few people to wring their hands at the loss of human to human contact in the techno age. I cannot write too much about it right now because I’m teaching ‘in world’ and I want my students to evaulate their experiences without my reflections influencing their own.
In the meantime, I thought I’d share this announcement with my bookish friends–and anyone else who cares to read this blog:

I spent a little time at the virtual cafe last week with my avatar, Saraswati Seoul. It’s a pretty cool place.
